Blue Days is a series of landscapes featuring sky, sea, and land, created during my stay in Senegal from 2011 to 2012, in the Sine-Saloum region and around Palmarin.

A stretch of arid land during the dry season, the region’s salt storehouse, it turns green again during the rainy season, between tidal creeks and bolongs. The sea shifts between low and high tide, leaving its mark on the ground. Traces of passing time, silvery reflections of salt on the sand, islets that grow, shrink, and sometimes disappear. The blurred horizon rises into the sky or plunges into the ocean.
