Hey there! I’m Anissa Sutton, founder of Editions L.A. — the creative home behind Pump It Up Magazine, The Sound of L.A., KPIU Radio, and our bilingual book collections.

I love all kinds of music — from soul and R&B to pop, jazz, gospel, and everything in between. As a proud Gen X’er, I grew up on real melodies and lyrics that meant something, and that passion still drives everything I do.

Through my work, I aim to uplift artists, share inspiring stories, and remind people that creativity has no limits. Whether it’s a new artist, a feel-good feature, or a book that touches the heart — my mission is to spread light, love, and good vibes through every beat and page.
