This is one of the most vulnerable breeds on The Livestock Conservancy’s list, but fiber folk say “We see them all the time!” That’s because We are the market for these fleeces. We see ALL of them. It’s up to us to keep the breed going. The wool is similar in fineness to Merino and Rambouillet, but with a longer staple length. It can be spun from bulky to laceweight and maintain integrity. It comes in a fantastic number of gorgeous natural colors. Highly recommended!
Printed document plus free digital version; 8.25x10.75” double sided flyer. This document contains an overview of breed information directed to fiber arts enthusiasts of all skill levels. These are merely an introduction to the breed – there is always more to learn!
