The Leicester Longwool is arguably one of the great sheep breeds of history. Leicester Longwools grow long, lustrous, strong fleeces that come in whites and a full range of grays all the way to black. The wool takes dyes beautifully. It’s a great weaving wool, but is also fun to knit and crochet.
