Douglas Stinson (douglas-stinson)
Douglas Stinson is an independent photographer and writer. His work has been exhibited in galleries internationally. Stinson founded the website BayAreaPhotoScene.com and is a member of the Board of Directors of PhotoAlliance. He received a BA from New College in Sarasota, FL and a PhD from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. He studied photography at the San Francisco Art Institute. Prior to concentrating on his own photography, Stinson performed research on digital imaging at Eastman Kodak and Hewlett Packard. Stinson currently live and works in Fremont, CA.
