The October 2014 edition of Amigos805 opens with a cover story on De Colores Art Show, opening Oct. 18 at the Santa Paula Art Museum, dedicated this year to Gilbert ‘Magu’ Luján. We also preview Día de los Muertos celebrations in the 805 region. The edition also includes information on Foodbank of Santa Barbara’s Backyard Bounty Day on Oct. 25, a commentary on Hispanic high school dropout rates falling while college graduation rates continue to lag and a commentary on the need for the Latino community to harness its viewing power and watch ‘Cristela” on Oct. 10 on ABC.
