images on #38/39 from the book; 'cherchez la femme' a french catch phrase, meaning almost nothing now, overused, holes through the soles; she lives with me since oh around 20 years; the biological woman 'lasted' 3 years in the house, before litterally throwing the towel through the windows; that was okay, because all my windows are fully open in summer, no bug screen, for they just pass through the house, riding the summer wind waves; on #40/41, I have drawn a more explicit evocation of a woman's presence in one's own abode.
