October 2022, is the heart of hurricane season in our neck of the woods. Almost on a weekly basis weather forecasters are warning us of impending tropical depressions that seem to herald coming storms. While we are bracing for physical, weather related storms the reality of a fragile democracy still looms large as we prepare for a round of late term elections. From local school boards, to governorships and senate seats are up for grabs and Presidential election aspirants are firing up their bases, but through this all the Church of Jesus Christ is being called to carry on. From time-to-time it is necessary to remind our readers that this is a Christian themed, lifestyle magazine, that touches on topics that concern us all.
