Cultural Connections is a series of 12 week long, literature based, hands-on curriculum guides that have been designed to be used with 6-8 year old children. These guides have been create to help introduce young students to the cultures and people from around the world. We will focus on the elements of life that we all have in common such as family, food, festivals, crafts, music, and games.

Join us as we explore different countries and cultures. In France we will try Quiche Lorraine, make our own stained glass window, and learn to play Escargot. In Kenya and Tanzania we will taste Mahamri, make beaded necklaces, and learn to play Manacala. In Japan we will roll our own sushi, paint a fish kite, and fold origami. Join us for these great activities and many more!

You do need a Cultural Connections Teacher's Guide to use this program.
