Trunetta Atwater (TrunettaAtwater)

Trunetta Atwater is a storyteller with a camera, on a mission to help women see themselves in a new light. Based in Jackson, TN, she specializes in creating portrait and boudoir photography experiences that feel just as transformative as they look. Through her work, Trunetta empowers women to embrace their beauty, rediscover their confidence, and own their stories.

The heart of Trunetta’s work has always felt like therapy. She sees the camera as more than a tool—it’s a way to connect, heal, and transform. Her Phototherapy sessions, offered alongside Dr. Cecily Moore, combine her photography expertise with Cecily’s therapeutic guidance. Together, they create a safe space where women can feel free, worthy, and whole.

Her mantra, “Take the picture, print it,” is the foundation of everything she does. Trunetta believes moments deserve to be more than memories—they should be tangible, something you can hold onto. That passion spills into her upcoming book-journal, SEEN, a guide to building confidence and self-discovery through daily routines and affirmations.

Trunetta’s work is a celebration—a way to capture life’s fleeting moments and turn them into something timeless. Through her lens and her words, she helps women see that their stories are worth telling, their beauty is worth honoring, and their lives are worth remembering.
