Nick Levitin (nlevitin)

Nick Levitin began his career as a photograppher in New York City during the 1970s. He was drawn to the mass gathering in the city parks and found them to be a kind of grand theater. His photographs of that period evoke the innocence of those days and the belief held by many at the time, that dramatic change through social action was possible.

Levitin currently focuses on portrait, fine art and documentary photography. His work has recently been seen in several solo shows in Montclair, New Jersey and upstate New York. His work has been characterized as evocate, intimate, and soulful. Prints of some of the photographs in this book may be purchased at .
