I promise not to make any more art

Stephan Caspar is a visual artist living in Hampshire. He initially trained as a filmmaker at University of Wales, Cardiff, having already completed his BA in Visual Arts at Middlesex University.

He has produced documentaries, prints, photographs and short films, which have been screened and exhibited at various festivals. Stephan currently lecturers in media, graphics and photography at Fareham College.

His work looks at ideas surrounding belonging, journeys and time, drawing on his background and experiences to create print, moving image and photographic pieces.

He has recently become custodian of to Badger Press, a printmaking studio in Hampshire. He hopes his work their will help promote and support printmaking in the region. He lives with his wife, young son and collection of bicycles in Fareham.
