Oasis in the Desert

This my personal collection of digital photographs of Red Rocks Park just outside of Las Vegas. It is such a wonderful place to visit. I lived in the Las Vegas area during the winter of 2009. I shot these photos to illustrate how amazing this place truly is. It is almost out of this world, as it is mother nature at it finest. I know time will erode these rocks into oblivion someday, but I am glad they are here for people to enjoy. It is amazing that a natural wonder such as this exists in a place where gambling, prostitution, and shows dominate the culture. This is how Vegas looks out in the desert off of the main strip.
