The Rifleman

“The Rifleman” is the classic television western that aired for five seasons on ABC from 1958 to 1963. Set in the fictional town of North Fork in the New Mexico territory, the show starred Chuck Connors and Johnny Crawford as father and son Lucas and Mark McCain, and Paul Fix as Marshal Micah Torrance. The series’ 168 episodes were produced by Jules V. Levy, Arthur Gardner, and Arnold Laven (Sussex Pictures) in association with Four Star Television. Sussex Pictures later merged into Levy-Gardner-Laven Productions Inc., which owns and administers all rights to the original series.
