M/V Taku. Alaska Marine Highway. The M/V Aurora is a 235 ft vessel opperated by the Alaska Marine Highway. It originally serviced the Inside Passage and is now on the run in the Prince William Sound. It gets its name from the Aurora Glacier, Glacier Bay National Park. At peak capacity, it can hold 250 passengers and 34 vehicles.

With Alaska having the largest coast line of the states, and plenty of islands, the Alaska Marine Highway was, and still is, an essential means of travel in and around Alaska
