An Enchanted Christmas

Once upon a time on a cold wintery day in a place far away, two little children sat excited next to the crackling fireplace.

It was going to be quite difficult to sleep on Christmas Eve. “Oh, one more story!” cried the little girl.

“Yes!” her brother chimed in. “One more story and we promise we will go to sleep!”

Both looked at each other and back at their grandmother. “One more story and then it’s lights out,” the grandmother said smiling at the anxious children.

They squealed with glee as their grandmother opened the old storybook.
