Silk Painters International's festival of silk is not only a time of learning; it is also a time of sharing and a time for members to strut their stuff. This extra large edition of the Silkworm features coverage of the Festival - Threads of Silk, Silk in Santa Fe 2014. Lots of pictures from the Member Art Show, Classes, Quilt Show and other festivities. There is also a fabulous review and interview of Suzanne Visor about her class, "Make a Silk Purse Out of a Sow's Ear," a class on composition and design using found objects. And no festival is complete without the Fashion Show parading member creations. Enjoy.
