Winter Issue 2012

Of course, after the Holidays have come and gone, winter also provides a season of peace and reflection. It gives us the oppor-tunity to stay inside; and look within our-selves, as we're not called outdoors to enjoy the warmth and sunshine that we normally do; depend-ing on where you live. We tend to concentrate on New Year Resolutions; hoping to truly make a change or do something different this time around. As we reflect, let’s remember to pursue God. In the book of Psalms, in chapter 145, David calls us to take the time to look back on our lives and reflect on the goodness of our God. Even though it may be cold or frozen outside, we don’t want our relationship with God to be frozen as well.
