OpSail 2012 Virginia sailed into Hampton Roads June 6-13 bringing 20 tall ships and more than 22 naval vessels from around the globe to dock in area harbors. Escorted by more than 200 pleasure craft, the Parade of Sail was witnessed by tens of thousands of spectators who lined the shore and watched from boats anchored nearby. From air, land and sea, Daily Press photographers were there capturing hundreds of moments that reflect the majesty and might of life on the high seas, the best of which are presented here for you to remember and enjoy.
