This Issue gives tribute to Mr. Tony Lewis and the #DCORNOTHING movement. Tony Lewis, Jr., is the son of one of the most notorious drug dealers, of the 80s in Washington, DC. His father, Tony Lewis Sr., is currently serving a life sentence for being the alleged partner of Rayful Edmonds. Tony Lewis Jr. has taken a completely different route from his father. I like to call it "correcting the sins" of his father. He is 31 years old, he graduated from Gonzaga College High School in Washington, DC in 1998 and continued his education going on to the University of the District of Columbia, where he graduated magna cum-laude in 2003. Not to mention, he grew up on Hanover St. in N.W., DC, which, was the first open air drug market in Washington, DC and was very much an active drug market when Tony was growing up. Mr. Lewis has started an initiative called Sons Of Life in which he mentors children of incarcerated parents. Read more of Tony's story in this issue of Six Twelve!
