Aphrodisias Magazine

Issue II of a travel magazine series from Türkiye. In the hills of ancient Caria lies Aphrodisias, a city named for the goddess of love and built from the marble of its own quarries. This issue walks through the Sebasteion and its relief panels, the monumental Tetrapylon gate, the best-preserved stadium of the ancient world, the Temple of Aphrodite, the council house and the Place of Palms, and ends with a frieze of theatre masks.

24 pages of photographs taken on 19 October 2026, arranged hour by hour in the order we walked, with history drawn from the information panels at the site. Designed with a classical Greek-key motif throughout.
