Carstairs Junction Climate Festival 2026 is a two-week celebration of creativity, sustainability, wellbeing, nature and community, taking place from 7–20 September 2026 as part of the wider Lanarkshire Climate Action Festival.
Created by Heart of the Junction CIC and supported by Lanarkshire Climate Action Hub, the festival brings an exciting programme of free activities to Carstairs Junction, from cyanotype eco-art, natural soap making and herbal creativity to soil discovery, community food preserving, food-waste reduction, yoga, environmental film and wire-wrapped jewellery.
This special festival programme is more than a guide to what’s on. Designed as a keepsake and community journal, it includes the full festival programme, individual event features, space for notes and reflections, practical ideas to take home, and opportunities to record what you discover along the way.
