If you've spent any time in Billings, MT, you have probably moseyed along some stretch of the rims. The Rims, more properly known as the "Rimrocks" , are remarkable sandstone slabs floating above the north side of Billings. Spanning from the far west end to the most eastern point of downtown, the Rims provide an odd juxtapositon to the largest metro area in Montana. We love the Rims And I had an idea to walk from one end of the Rims to the other, west to east. Reagan Haggerty and Rylan Connors, local photographers and dear friends agreed to do this "walk and stop and take photo" project with me. Mac Bartsch and Cal Leuthold met us on the tail end of the jaunt too. From the eyes, or more precisely lenses, of the five of us, this is the Rims Walk Project A collection of photographs, in chronological order, documenting the span of the Rims as we saw them on 6/06/2026.
