There is an inexplicable aspect to archeology that exists outside the physical labor and academic knowledge. It exists as a feeling, as a kinship that transcends time. There is a communion between an object and archeologist that carries with it a solemn weight and reverence. Outside those who work in the field, this pull is difficult to grasp.

This book is my attempt to bridge that distance.

Through photographs and the words of my friends and peers from our time at Argilos, I hope to make this tangible; to allow anyone who sees this to share in it.
