Factory Stories

In Factory Stories, photographer Harry Littell set out to document the empty buildings of the former Morse Chain Company, in Ithaca, NY. But as he began meeting and interviewing former workers, Factory Stories also became about the community that took shape in an old plant on South Hill; how people found their way to factory jobs, the challenges and rewards of decades spent engaged in hot, noisy production, and the bonds that formed between people doing demanding work together.
