Go Fish With Fathers By Carol L. Allen It’s June. So soon? Where did the time go; wasn’t it just New Year’s Eve? June so soon or not, it’s a won- derful time of year here in the Desert Southwest. The weather is transition- ing, and the searing summer heat is not yet here. But it will be, so now is the time to get ourdoors: hiking, boating, camping, and yes, by all means, fishing! Is there anything more memorable than fishing with your dad? So many memories are cherished of a father and son out on a lake, casting for fish. Or, of a father and daughter enjoy- ing this same special time together. Whether it’s by a river or a stream, on a lake, or on the shore of a Commu- nity Fishing Program (CFPO) water site, the joy of sharing with Dad is all the same. How many fish did you catch? Does it really matter?
