My Lumen work is a delicate dance with the unpredictable, reflecting the universal struggle between control and surrender. We often attempt to "master the light" of our own lives, yet much of our journey is governed by the transient nature of the moment. These photographic prints serve as records of a passing state, much like our own memories: beautiful, singular, and impossible to replicate.

This practice is my celebration of Slow Photography, born from the belief that life's most profound captures aren't found in a split second. By exposing aged, expired darkroom silver paper to the sun, I mirror the human process of uncovering hidden vibrancy within our own histories.

In this dialogue between the sun and the silver, I have found a visual metaphor for resilience. It is my invitation to trust the long exposure of our lives, where time and chance take over, revealing a beauty that exists only when we let go.
