2026 Sundae Recipe Book

This book is a record of what came after: the 2026 Sundae Showdown, the second such event The History Center in Tompkins County has put on in my honor. Ten ice cream artisans, one afternoon in April, hundreds of sundaes scooped and handed out in the name of local history. Every recipe in this book came from a neighbor. A home cook. An ice cream shop. A visitor who read about the contest and thought, I have an idea. They wrote it down. They sent it in. That is the whole mechanism of the thing.
