dates magazine issue #1: “January 31, 2025”
The idea behind dates is simple: one day, and a collection of images curated from people all over the world.
Contributors were invited to review what was already existing in their camera roll or hard drives. Zero curation, no theme, no planning, no premeditation.
Each issue centers on a single calendar date and brings together photographs and videos captured on that day, without coordination or long-term intention. The images are published exactly one year later, allowing chance, overlap, and contrast to do the work. There is no theme. Just the day.
