Esoterics: Composting Secret Languages explores the liminal spaces between artistic and esoteric practices, ritual poetics, ecology and secret languages. In this issue, we’ll showcase the work of interdisciplinary artists, writers, healers and feminist collectives interested in continuing, re-purposing and expanding the use of ancient sacred technologies and symbols in order to engage with a reality that re-enchants the world. In a time of ecological and ideological crisis, the works of artists and writers Ariel Guzik, Danielle Vogel, Diego Gerard Morrison. Daniel Godinez Nivón, Lucía Hinojosa Gaxiola and the feminist collectives Hilma’s Ghost and The Hildegard von Bingen Society for Gardening Companions, sustain a psychic ecology for healing, collaborating and revitalizing nature, myth, marginalized voices and communities across time and history. Guest edited by Lucía Hinojosa Gaxiola.
