In April 2009, all of the 14 children undergoing hemodialysis treatments at Children's Hospital of Michigan were given 35mm point-and-shoot cameras. They were asked to take photos of what interested them at home, school and in the hospital but most importantly, to tell the story of their life using photographs.

Our first issue introduces the IPC photographers and highlights their best images thus far.
