Wildlight is a collection of photos I took throughout the year that explore the way light interacts with the world around us. I wasn’t aiming for perfect shots or polished moments, instead, I wanted to capture the feeling of being present, of noticing small things that usually slip by.

A lot of this project came from just being curious. I started paying attention to how light moved through leaves, bounced off buildings, or hit someone’s face in a split second. I let go of trying to control the scene and just followed what felt honest. Some photos came out soft and calm, others a little chaotic, but that contrast is part of what I love about them.

More than anything, Wildlight is about learning to see differently. It’s taught me that photography isn’t just about what you look at, it’s about how you look at it.
