A photographic record of two visits to Lambshead Ranch in west central Texas. On February 19, 1992, Mr. Watt Matthews--age 93--and neighbors, welcomed Tio and Janell Kleberg of the King Ranch to historic Lambshead Ranch for a day that included a tour of the ranch and its restored 19th-century buildings, an exchange of gifts, a memorable lunch, and much conversation about the past and future of ranching. Pictures of another visit to Lambshead record the delivery of a new, fine book by Four-O Publishing to Mr. Matthews--life-long reader, book collector, and 1921 graduate of Princeton University. Text by Ranch historian, Professor Lawrence Clayton; over 100 black & photographs by Larry E. Fink.
