Sequences is a book of silent movies: black and white and colorful stories, told visually panel by panel. In most of them, the content, characters, notions and emotions of the mini dramas are clear. In others, things are slightly more ambiguous and open to wider interpretations. As in films, I am sculpting time, behavior, light and meaning within these static frames. You provide the dialog and the motion. My role in this series is as an explorer, detective, director, producer and writer, creating beautiful and compelling stories out of a series of disparate images I have unearthed and discovered, where no sequential narrative had existed before. I act as an editor, compiler and fisherman of images and as a creator and teller of stories, where no such anecdotes had previously existed. Every Sequence tolls a story.
