There are several efforts already underway in New Bedford, Massachusetts' Old Bedford Village neighborhood to spark neighborhood revitalization. The Old Bedford Village Development Cooperation has a Brownfields and 2 Greenfields programs that provide youth training through various community improvement projects. The City continues a strategic focus on revitalizing it’s downtown, next to the Old Bedford Village neighborhood, which could help helping or negating revitalization efforts. This issue examines the changing face of a neighborhood on the brink of change through its leadership by highlighting what we can learn.
