The Angels Of Desire

Angels of Desire is a series of photographs shot in the malls of the Bay Area in California which explores the visual details of the amplified versions of American life that exist in advertising and point of sale graphics in high end malls. This series focuses on faces in advertising and in modern consumer culture. The faces used in advertising photography and large scale graphics become my human models for creating and composing much more interesting and abstract works of art that have nothing to do with selling products and have everything to do with creating powerful, colorful, vibrant lasting images out of advertising ephemera.
