Successful construction projects are well-orchestrated productions. Hundreds of variables must be carefully tracked to achieve the optimal outcomes in cost, quality and time. Even the slightest delays in the timeline or supply chain can create ripple effects throughout the jobsite.
That’s why it’s important to use an independent, outside scheduling firm. Baseline Consultants, Inc. has been serving general contractors, architects and owners since September 1996, when founders Scott Collins and David Jones merged their many years of construction and scheduling experience and opened their doors in Birmingham. Working their base of contacts and adding roughly a consultant a year, they gradually opened additional offices in Mobile, Ala., Atlanta and Orlando. Today the company’s six partners and seven consultants work as many as 120 projects at any given time, all across the country, for some of the biggest names in the construction industry.
