‘Darling.’ is a poetry and prose anthology which explores the wild woman archetype, femininity and how they relate with society, culture and religion. The poetry and prose is made to express womanhood in a lyrical way. It explores the writer’s confusion on which opinions she belongs to.

‘Darling.’ is a memoir of a wild woman. A woman who wants to be unconfined, feeling both inspired and simultaneously shackled by her upbringing. This poetry collection is the case for many modern Egyptian women who want to encapsulate freedom within their lives but are pulled by different opinions, thoughts and their childhood.
