#002 "PASSING-BY" 02-17-23, 8.5 x 8.5

Over the course of some period of time, I have amassed a collection of little 35mm pictures that I had taken during my travel along the southern border of Connecticut usually going from New London to the Westport area. I came to be fascinated with the kind of grainy and often the smeary outlook of these funny little images. They oddly posed a good number of challenges even in tackling a relatively simple project and, therefore the exercise resulted in an ample opportunity for my education. From the moment that I boarded the train I had to think about which chair I needed to claim (not too much of a problem when my train originated the trip) but almost more important, was the window clean and clear enough. The technical challenges to this undertaking go on at some length in the appendix at the end for those who are interested.
