"the Conbini" is an open themed graphic novel-zine (Fanzine for Fox Lovers) inspired by 1990's New York City Mafiosi rap music themes as well as the Mario Puzo/ Martin Scorsese film and literature contributions with a southern European idyllic set of scenes surrounding food and mysterious non-connecting connections. It is also a prequel to #TheSummersetDessertShoppe. The Conbini has a Seinfeld humour theme to it as well and openly exploits Yakuza/ organized crime rumour inside jokes amongst the elite who know the Conbini is just a Japanese Convenience Store. Ways to laugh at stupid people, eavesdroppers and eyehustlers as entertainment rather than frustrations during xenophobic reactionism resistance to gentrification. The feel good, simple, hand drawn illustrations and writings are all the transformative positive energy byproduct of a psychiatric hospitalization at United Medical Center as indicated by the dates (much love from DC Dept. of Behavioral Services ECURA#422-380)
