Issue 67 of Wing Chun Illustrated features Sifu Michael Mehle. Michael began his martial arts journey in Germany at age seven. In 1991, he started practising Wing Tsun at Langenzell Castle with his then teacher Sifu Pfaff. When a new era of access to more information arrived, with the advancement of the Internet, it became a major turning point, and he left the EWTO in 2004. A few years later, one of Michael’s oldest students sent him a video clip of Sifu Gary Lam, which became another turning point. Impressed by the content, Michael attended his first seminar with Sifu Lam in London, and since 2011 he has been passionately teaching Gary Lam Wing Chun.
