This book showcases 60 of my favorite photographs of Hawaii in bloom during the pandemic. When the coronavirus appeared in Hawaii in March, 2020, the local beaches were blocked from access for a month. Since I usually swim in the ocean for my morning exercise and pleasure, I started walking in my neighborhood. I was only carrying my iPhone, and it was a glorious spring, with so many flowers and plants. I was delighting in all that there was to see while walking, beauty that I had missed when driving at a faster speed. As a a photographer, I couldn’t resist taking photos with my iPhone 11 Pro camera. I was really impressed with the quality (actually too sharp!) and added a Topaz filter to soften and bring out the beauty I experienced when I was photographing.
