Issue 63 of Wing Chun Illustrated features Sifu John Wong Hong Chung. John is the eldest son of Master Wong Shun Leung. When his father passed away in 1997, it was an unexpected and sudden loss. John chose to leave his full-time job to keep the teachings and legacy of his father alive by teaching WSLVT at the Ving Tsun Athletic Association. Being the son of a Wing Chun legend hasn’t always been easy, but he eventually found his teaching style by combining his knowledge, the experience gained with his students, and the support and guidance of his older Kung Fu brothers.
