understood that at some point, we all must leave our nests to go home. Home…where I will one day Some medicine may be hard to ‘swallow’ but these Swallows were just what the Doctor ordered. Still mourning the loss of my beloved pet Murphy, I was unexpectantly blessed by another circle of life. Much to my surprise, two Barn Swallows began making a nest in the upper eaves of my lower patio. Something told me to leave the nest alone. Using my camera, I decided to document their story. From May through August, from eggs to eventually leaving the nest, my heart began to heal. I understood that at some point, we all must leave our nests to go home. Home…where I will one day be with my Murphy again…no doubt along with some beautiful Swallows who were medicine to my soul.n
