Duval Connect Magazine is a community publication based in Jacksonville, Florida. The summer of 2021 was a summer of first. Jacksonville Florida recognized its first Miss Juneteenth and Duval Connect Magazine has an exclusive interview with Kimberly Faith Green.

The Black Art Matters Revolt event that took place at the beginning of the summer was an opportunity for the youth of Jacksonville to amplify their voices to the education system. The DCPS superintendent Diana L. Green was in attendance. Read about how the community came together to show support.
