As a 'non essential' worker from Connecticut, I shared a similar experience to those around the globe being forced out of work, and found myself socially distant ways to occupy the time . As a film photographer, I began to develop these photos at home, as a way to document a portion of the pandemic from my perspective. This book is showing isolation from society, but also spending time with the ones you love-as I was privileged enough to do so. All proceeds from this book with be donated to the Okra Project, which is a collective that seeks to address the global crisis faced by Black Trans people by bringing home cooked, healthy, and culturally specific meals and resources to Black Trans People . While it was unfortunate that my business shut down, I understand the privilege I have, and will continue to acknowledge and use my resources to help create equality and liberty for all.
