An Investigation into Self-Distractive Markings explores the passage of time, not only with the taking of ritualistic self-portraits, but tracks my habits of internet consumption that questions my relationship to my online identity. Distractive markings are a method of camouflage that utilizes small conspicuous marks that distract an observer’s attention from recognizing the object as a whole. Created in 2020.
