We will come out of quarantine with long, white hair, with cleaner hands, and old clothes, with fear and the desire to be outside, with fear and the desire to meet someone. Our houses will be immaculate.

We will step out with empty pockets and full pantries. We will be able to make bread and pizza, and not to waste food scraps. We will remember that a doctor or a nurse should be applauded more than a professional athlete, and that the work of a good teacher cannot be replaced with a laptop computer for distant learning.

Hopefully we will finally learn to respect some basic rules of coexistence. Maybe, if we learned the lesson, we will do so.

No storm lasts forever. This one will also pass.
