Hair Hero

I don’t remember my hair in its natural state as a child. I didn’t discover my natural curl pattern until I was eighteen. Since then, I’ve learned to embrace my natural hair and I feel the need to show the beauty of black hair everywhere I go. I express myself through it. It is my crown, and it is what gives me my black girl magic. The strength of my kinky curls cannot be touched or criticized by anyone. My hair is no longer a secret identity, but part of who I really am.
