Skatopia. 88 Acres of pure anarchy. 100% skateboarding cranked up to eleven. It was in 1995 that pro skateboarder, Brewce Martin, started Skatopia in the backwoods of Rutland Ohio with one thing in mind: Freedom. To skate and party without any rules or restrictions of law. During 2017, I documented the chaos of the parties as an active participant. This body of work is intended to shed light on the underground scene of skateboarding. The raw, unadulterated stoke that isn’t commonly seen in mainstream media. Sex, Drugs, and Punk Rock. Enter at your own risk.
